IT/Telecom/NEBS
DTB can assist your networking and telecommunications product development needs by tailoring a unique test protocol to your requirements or by testing your products to standardized regimens, such as NEBS (Network Equipment-Building System).
DTB can offer environmental, vibration, and EMI/EMC testing to a host of international standards, including commercial and military requirements.
We can also design a R&D test program for you to evaluate specific system critical aspects on alpha level equipment, prior to full spectrum validation testing. Tap into our network of engineers for a unique test approach that is based on our experience, flexibility, and insight into your product development needs.
NEBS Testing Services
NEBS refers to a family of tests that applies to telecommunications equipment. The two most common tests are GR-63-CORE, physical protection (NEBS requirement); and GR-1089-CORE, EMC and electrical safety (generic criteria).
The Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC) and its prospective suppliers routinely test their developmental equipment at DTB to determine compatibility with these standards. Additionally, NEBS requires products to be evaluated in extreme environments and phenomena, which can also be replicated at DTB.
We offer engineering analysis to our customers for both physical and electrical protection characteristics of the products that will be under test. This consultation can occur before, during, or after testing activities. Typical consultations consist of early-stage analysis of product designs and performance.
