Dayton T. Brown, Inc. has the ability to perform Salt Fog Testing, which involves misting a salt solution – with a controlled pH – into the air in order to replicate a salt (marine) environment.
We have 4 chambers available to accommodate this type of testing:
Our chambers meet the following criteria:
- A 4 ft. salt fog chamber (approximately 4 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft.)
- A 6 ft. salt fog and sulfur dioxide (SO2) chamber (approximately 6 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft.)
- A 12 ft. salt fog and SO2 chamber (approximately 12 ft. x 4 ft. x 4 ft.)
- A 21 ft. salt fog chamber, which allows for entire vehicles to be tested
We meet the following requirements for Salt Fog Testing:
