DTB and the US Army
DTB’s testing facilities can subject your equipment to a variety of environmental conditions, such as temperature extremes, sand and dust, humidity, wind and rain exposure, and much more. We are fully equipped for testing to US Army Test Operation Procedures, MIL-STD-810, RTCA/DO-160, and ATPD 2352 for transparent armor. We can also design a unique testing profile to meet nearly any requirement.
DTB’s ballistic testing capabilities include .50 caliber and AP round range testing. We have won multiple contracts with various small arms and ammunition manufacturers to accelerate their development activities. We specialize in large unit testing work, including large chambers. Check out our T5500 with the head expander and a 3 in. displacement!
DTB can perform EMI/EMC testing to all revision levels of MIL-STD-461. We offer exceptional radiated susceptibility (Method RS105) testing and now own the largest RS105 simulator in any US non-government test facility. This requirement is applicable to Army aircraft for safety critical equipment and subsystems that are located in an external installation. We understand the military’s need to ensure that critical equipment survives and/or works properly in extreme circumstances.
Our skilled staff is also qualified to perform engineering and re-engineering work, as well as armament and munitions testing, structural/fatigue testing, failure analysis, metallurgical analysis, and conformance inspection projects, as a prime or subcontractor. Give us a call today to learn more!
