The purpose of Combined Environment (Temperature/Altitude/Humidity) Testing is to determine a material’s resistance to the effects of temperature changes and humid environments at varying altitudes.
Dayton T. Brown, Inc.’s chamber for this type of testing meets the following criteria:
- Ability to accommodate test items up to 5 ft. x 5 ft. with a capacity of 96 ft.3
- Standard operating temperature ranges from -100°F to +350°F at a rate of 41°F/min.
- Standard altitude variations up to 70,000 ft. at a rate of 2,000 ft./min.
- Standard humidity variations from 10% to 98% at a rate of 50°F/min.
- Icing at a rate of 10 min. to 95% humidity
