BOHEMIA, N.Y. – The DTB team got together in July for the annual summer picnics at two of the company’s locations. These fun-filled gatherings offer employees and their families the opportunity to have a good time enjoying the warm weather, the great entertainment and food, and building lasting memories.

On Saturday, July 16, 320 employees, family, and friends filled the DTB picnic grounds, adjacent to the company headquarters in Bohemia, NY. Attendees enjoyed water slides, mini golf, an obstacle course, caricature drawings, photo booth, beach bag decorating, glitter tattoos, and carnival games provided by Event Kings, as well as a petting zoo and pony rides provided by Rocking Horse Farms. Children participated in numerous games including musical spots and water balloon toss, while the adults enjoyed the Wheel of Fortune game, offering the chance to spin the wheel and win prizes. Everyone enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream while listening to great music. Florian Foods also provided a yummy lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, chicken, shrimp kabobs, and pretzels, along with a fantastic fresh fruit bar.

On Friday, July 29, Mission Systems Division employees and their families enjoyed the annual picnic at the Corbin Nature Pavilion - Calvert Marine Museum located in Solomons, MD. Attendees had fun playing cornhole, Jenga, and “Wheel of Fortune” in which employees answered DTB trivia questions to win prizes! A great lunch was provided by Chaptico Market and an ice cream bar was supplied by Bruster’s.

Additionally, on Wednesday, August 24, the Wichita team and their guests enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Greens at Terradyne Country Club in Andover, KS. Employees enjoyed the company of their family, friends, and coworkers and participated in a raffle for a chance to win prizes.
